Dr Lisa Palmer is a Professor in Environmental Studies at Melbourne University. A human geographer, she teaches and researches on human-environment relations and indigenous approaches to environmental and social governance with a special focus on Timor-Leste.
Josh Trindade, is a Timorese scholar who addresses fundamental issues relating to culture, beliefs and traditional systems, and their relationship to nationalism, social solidarity and rule of law. He has written and published various anthropological papers on Timor-Leste.
